Subj: Kerberos for Windows 2.1.1 Released
-----------------------

Good Afternoon,

Information Systems is proud to announce the availability and support for
Kerberos for Windows (KfW) 2.1.1.

Who Should Upgrade and Why
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The only people that need KfW 2.1.1 are those running Windows XP. KfW 2.1
does not work with Windows XP.

Please note that IS does not at this time support Windows XP and we
recommend that you purchase any new systems with Windows 2000 Professional
instead of Windows XP.

Known Issues and Cautions
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The current version of KLP, 1.0, does not work with Windows XP. We plan
to release a fixed version of KLP in January 2002.

New Features
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The only change in KfW 2.1.1 from KfW 2.1 is the fix to work with Windows XP.

Where to Get KfW 2.1.1
-------------------------------------------------------------------
KfW 2.1.1 is available for download from http://web.mit.edu/software/

Where to Get Help with KfW 2.1.1
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Support for KfW 2.1.1 is available from the Computing Helpdesk.
email: pc-help@mit.edu
phone: x3-1102
web: http://web.mit.edu/helpdesk/

Documentation for KfW is available at http://web.mit.edu/is/help/kfw/.

Enjoy!
Jonathan
