**FileZilla, and SecureFX are secure file transfer product alternatives for

*Information Systems' Training and Publications team has seen a decline in
PageMaker use on-campus with increasing demand for Quark and InDesign.

*Information Systems' Training is offering a Pagemaker course on campus
during the Winter of 2003. In addition, they will also offer a Quark class
during this time frame. InDesign classes will be added to the schedule as
demand warrants.

WINDOWS' WORKSTATION DISCONTINUED ON DECEMBER 31, 2002
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows ME for December 31, 2002

To support this, we have purchased a Windows XP Professional volume license
from Microsoft. The license covers Faculty and Staff.

Briefly, several critical reasons for the decision to discontinue Windows
ME are:

- Our statistics indicate that the use of ME on campus is minimal
- We are focusing our ongoing efforts on Windows 2000 and XP.

We're always looking for volunteers to participate in our release
