Re: Secure FX 2.1.1 Release Effort Underway
The Secure FX Release Team has begun the effort to deliver Secure FX to the
MIT community. The release effort will focus on testing of the product,
creating documentation for the product, gearing up support, and packaging
the product for the MIT environment.
Secure FX will be the first supported SSH2 file transfer client for the
Windows platform. It's key features include:
-Secure file transfers using Secure Shell SFTP
-SSH2 protocol support provides password and public-key authentication
-ability to reconnect after a broken connection and resume the transfer
-Command-line support
-Windows® Explorer look and feel with Network Neighborhood support and
customizable toolbar
-Quick Site Synchronize
-Multiple simultaneous connection
-Able to securely connect through Network Address Translation (NAT) boxes
(DSL and Cable routers, etc) so home users can connect securely from behind
these devices
