Rachel & others,
I've been meaning to get a note off to you folks since your Sept 15
email which indicated you'd hit the pavement running on the conversion
effort. If my memory serves me correctly, we'd talked about two
target dates for this work in the meeting with Roger before the summer.
There was a pretty firm commitment to start a more detailed evaluation
of the work to be performed in September, and a hope to be able to
migrate off the 3827 by 12/31.
It appears you folks are ahead of schedule with both targets! It would
be nice to get this work done but I don't want people killing themselves
to make the 12/1 date. I'm sure there's lots of time being spent on
EBS and other work. So, please don't feel there's anything pressing the
12/1 date.
Thanks for sharing the good news, and for the conversion efforts.
