Hello Brad,

Thank you for your honesty! I think that my earlier email listing requirements
may have been misleading. Most of those requirements that I listed in my
previous email to Dan Cogswell (which I copied to you) can be met through the
web interface (using SSL of course). Dan and his colleagues at IBM specialize
in tailoring their web server for each installation.

The requirements for a Macintosh-specific client are simpler:

Authenticated print file submission (needed in the short term)
Authenticated capture of billing information (longer term requirement)

Based on his experience with the kerberized "print monitor" for Windows, Dan
seemed to feel that the coding would be fairly simple. The print monitor
actually communicates through its back end to the web server via the http
protocol. It is described in the pdf file that Dan sent earlier today via
email. I am assuming that you had not seen it at the time that you sent your
email to our list.

Does this make enough of a difference for you to be able to take this on?
If not, no hard feelings! It would be helpful however if you would provide
me with the following information:

   1) The source for klpr.
   2) The name of the software products and environments you used to write it.
   3) Pointers to any other relevant Macintosh development information.

Thanks,
Rocklyn
