Subject: Help for the Victims
As we mourn the tragedy of this past Tuesday, many are searching for ways
to help.
Collection of items needed by the Disaster Relief Workers in NYC:
Items can be brought to the foyer of the MIT Chapel on Sunday, Sept. 16
between 9:30 am and 5:00 pm only. Place them in the barrels provided.
They will then been taken down to NYC by truck.
The needs list is VERY specific!
Only the following items are needed:
bottled water
canned meats & fish
jar of peanut butter & jelly
NEW underwear, socks, shrits & jeans for adult men & women (all clothing
items must be new & still have tags on them showing size. Disaster Relief
Workers are changing out of contaminated clothing several times daily & new
new clothing with exact sizes.
