This coming weekend there will be four days of massive actions in DC against
racism, war, and militarism. There will be actions with the School of the
Americas Watch, A.N.S.W.E.R., the Mobilization For Colombia, and the D.C. Anti-
Capitalist Convergence. A group from MIT is planning to go down leaving Friday
morning (April 19) in order to get there in time for the SOA rally. We will
stay through the large permitted march on saturday and then be home late
saturday night / early sunday morning. The cost for the transportation will
run about $300 total and we are planning on about 15 people going which makes
it about $20 per person. In addition, some may stay until the direct action
on Monday and come back on the bus. We are finding housing for everyone who
goes for at least friday night. If you are interested in going please email
me ASAP and come to the final planning meeting on WEDNESDAY at 7:30 in room
5-134. I hope to see you all there and remember, if we do not act now, it is
only a matter of time until the war is expaned and even more people start
dieing. Until wednesday...
