Issues:
The Oracle purchase of Steltor has moved in a direction that
should be advantageous for MIT. Oracle is releasing new versions of
the CorporateTime client in March of 2003. Oracle has also said that
future releases of the product will be "stand alone" and can be
purchased separately from the rest of Oracle's Collaboration Suite.
Key learnings:
There was little new learned during this phase of the project
besides the updates from Oracle about CorporateTime's future. Most of
our effort was put into the preparation of the final report and for
the ITAG review.
Team dynamics:
The team did some excellent work in completing this project.
Everyone made important contributions to its successful conclusion.
