Accomplishments past period:
Created community survey
Scheduled stakeholders forum
Identified stakeholders to interview directly and developed separate
survey questions.
Created detailed timeline for deliverables
Began to compile list of peer institutions for review
Began to review previous work done on draft support plan for revision
Goals for the coming period:
Meet with sponsor
Review vendor adaptation timelines
Publish and publicize survey...compile results
Hold stakeholders forum on 1/30
Conduct stakeholder interviews
Organize and publish peer and vendor review
Draft support plan
Draft final report
Issues:
We're about a week behind our original timeline.
Key learnings:
Planning out each step involved in creating the deliverables and then
mapping them to the timeline helped quite a bit.
Team dynamics:
Amazing team! I've never seen such a high level of commitment and
productivity in one team.
Additional comments:
Apple announced that machines will be shipping with Mac OS X as the
default OS begging on Monday, 1/7.
