Recent accomplishments:
- Prepared a report on the results of the spring term test.
- Recommended continuing the test in the fall, since the spring load
was less than we expected.
- Prepared a list of potential remaining development tasks.
- Began recruitment of testers for the fall; two classes are lined up
so far.
- Ported code to Athena 9.0 (Solaris 8, Redhat 7.1), and began
testing.
- Discussed possible ways to address the temporary disk space issues.
- Set up new machines for debugging.
Upcoming plans:
- Recruit testers for fall.
- Test software under Athena 9.0.
- Schedule update of test machines.
- Investigate getting a Moira feed for doing group membership lookup.
- Further investigation of temp disk space issues.
- Update project notebook.
- Update documentation.
Issues:
- Faculty from the spring test don't teach classes that can make use
of it in the fall, so probably we will need to recruit an entirely
new set of testers.
