Accomplishments past period:
- Approximately 70% complete on draft of Discovery Report
- Completed summarizing results of Ivy+ and Internal IMAP early user
surveys
- Provided project update to IS Integration Team, Support Process Team
Leaders, Web-Agents, and CWIS
- Wrapping up email client testing
- Increased focus on support, training, and documentation issues in
team meetings and individual work efforts
- Our high level recommendations are beginning to emerge and there is
growing consensus within the team on these recommendations
Goals for the coming period:
- Finish draft of Discovery Report
- Accomplish final check-ins with Sponsors prior to Discovery Report
walk-thrus
Issues:
- Eudora Windows continues to have problems with Kerberos which has
kept us from testing Eudora on this platform. We are having to form our
final recommendations without this key datapoint.
Key learnings:
- Ensure that individual points of view by team members are respected
and encouraged
- Check in with team members frequently on an individual basis
- Begin writing the Discovery Report early --- building the text as
various components of the project yield conclusions, recommendations,
etc.
- Use project work as an opportunity to encourage team members to
interact with IS staff members who they might not otherwise frequently
interact with
Team dynamics:
- The team is working well together and our meetings continue to yield
increasingly more productive conversations
Additional comments:
- Entering the home stretch ... our project wraps up at the end of this
month
