Accomplishments past period:
- Discussed issues and questions that arose from the first
draft of the Discovery Report and incorporated them
into the second draft
- Created a Business Model, reflecting the incremental
savings/costs for adding Linux Athena and Layered
Linux Athena to the current Sun and SGI platforms
Goals for the coming period:
- Review the Business Model with the team
- Gather comments on draft 2 and incorporate them into draft 3
- Create an inventory of recommended next steps, including
getting explicit approval on the various recommendations,
including how we implement special third party license
restrictions
Issues:
- Do we want to open up the entire question of Athena fees at
this time, or just strive to keep the restricted software
fee and Standard Linux Athena fees in line with current
SGI and Sun fees?
