Accomplishments past period
- Revised Draft of Business Model project charter
- Posted Charter to infosys and pismere mailing lists
- Began low level recruitment for project team
- Began conversations with Competency regarding Finance resources to
work on project.
- Updated project-db
Goals for the coming period
- Work toward completion of team formation
- Continue strategic discussions with sponsor - Vijay Kumar
- Continue team recruiting
- Prepare for official launch of project
- Report at Pismere strategic group next week
Issues
- Getting all the pieces of this wide-ranging project aligned
- Project leadership must be settled; strong leader/manager needed
- Staffing remains a problem - Finance team is spread thin
- There is a general need for business models, and each business model may
have linkages to other efforts. For example, the Pismere business model
may have connections with the Ed Tech initiatives.
Key learnings
- This is a big effort and its outcome can influence how we build
other business models around IS.
