Accomplishments past period
1. Mike Barker sent out a sizing memo and a remaining steps memo.
2. A "re-kickoff" meeting was held 1/25/1999. Anne Salemme, Ted, Greg
Anderson, Bill Cattey, Mike Barker, Bob Basch, Naomi Schmidt, Vijay Kumar
attended.
Goals for the coming period
1. Anne will write up where we are and requirements
2. Bob will turn on the prototype under his desk
3. Ted will draft administration requirements
4. Naomi will begin planning a "focus group" for faculty, etc. re
direction, sizing, etc.
Issues
1. I am concerned that the "prototype" being discussed for summer probably
means different things to different people.
2. There are still calls to "harvest spare cycles"
Raised at the meeting and largely unanswered:
1. Sponsorship?
2. Relative value?
3. Commitment?
4. Leverage?
5. Technical Design?
The last item seems to be where we are focusing our efforts.
