This first revision incorporates feedback from Tom (Thanks Tom!).
Specifically, the anchor to the "Windows Domain" glossary entry was
fixed, the "MSI Development" entry and the first footnote were
clarified, and the glossary entry for MSI's was expanded slightly.

<h4><a name=3D"sl_msi"></a>MSI Development</h4>=0D <p>Applications =
are made available and deployed to managed machines via Microsoft =
Installers (MSI) that are deployable via a domain. The MSI format is =
also the standard installer format for many other deployment means. =
These MSI's need to be carefully developed and tested to make sure they =
are deployable, do not interfere with other applications, and handle =
multiple users correctly. MIT has a library of common MSI's ready to go. =
However, if you are interested in deploying a new application for which =
a deployable MSI does not yet exist, the listed fee for developing such =
an MSI applies.</p>=0D <p>IS&T may be able to share some of the =
cost if this is an application that is licensed for deployment beyond =
your domain or container, and is of interest to a larger segment of the =
MIT community. Please contact us with as much lead time as possible =
regarding MSI development.</p>=0D <p>The listed fee includes 1 year =
of service and support, including re-writing the MSI should a newer =
version of the application be released within this 1-year period. </p> =
<h2><a name=3D"glossary"></a>Glossary</h2>=0D <h4><a =
name=3D"glossary_container"></a>Container</h4>=0D <p>A container is =
used by the Windows Domain Controller to manage machines and users. =
Containers are managed by one or more Container Administrator. Many =
aspects of a system's configuration can be controlled via container =
settings and Group Policy. Application software can be deployed to =
system's in a container via Group Policy using Microsoft's MSI installer =
technology.</p>=0D <h4><a name=3D"glossary_mit_username"></a>MIT =
Username</h4>=0D <p>An MIT username, also known as a Kerberos name or =
Athena username, is available to any MIT student, faculty, or staff =
member. Most current members of the MIT community already have an MIT =

Service (SUS)</h4>=0D <p>SUS allows you to use the Microsoft =
Automatic Updates feature in Windows to subscribe to MIT Windows Update =
Services. This service is available to all MIT faculty, staff and =
students. SUS is like a copy of Microsoft Windows Update inside MITnet =
that allows MIT to deploy critical updates, security updates, and =
service packs, while also giving us the opportunity to test them in our =
