Here are some frownies! :( :( :(
I was kind of hoping we would not do this until the access situation was
resolved, so we could change it if necessary. In fact I think I said that
yesterday at the staff meeting.
Has the new form been tested by the people who actually receive the
requests (container-request)? What about the notification from the front
page... does container-request get a copy of that? We need to hammer this
down before we move this into complete production.
And now that we've removed all links to the old, working form and replaced
it with the new form entirely, are there any plans to inform
contact-container-admins about this change to our web pages? This
notification should have happened at the same time, or even in advance, so
that existing container admins are not caught off guard by this change.
I suggest we put the old link back and rename the form back. Maybe we can
do something like this:
<a href="new one">Request a Win.Mit.Edu container</a> <font size=-1>(If you
are having trouble with the new form, you may use the <a href="old one">old
form</a>, keeping in mind it will eventually go away.)</font>
