project name: casetracker 1.5++
project leaders: goguen, barbara and thomas, oliver
report date: december 12, 2002
submitted by: goguen, barbara
project notebook: http://web.mit.edu/tooltime/
accomplishments past period:
- held the second category owners meeting on december 5, 10-11 in the
demo center; discussed policies, reporting, category owners list, and
presented prototype screens for case sets.
- solicited input from category owners regarding descriptions of
their teams and contact information that can be published for all
category owners to see and use
goals for coming period:
- communicate with sponsor about our proposed design/development next steps
- write up testing scenarios and conduct usability testing on designs
for new case set functionality
- begin work on the underlying code to the new case set functionality
- redraft casetracker policy statements incorporating feedback from
ct-lead meeting; have policy team review and then re-circulate to
category owners for final review before making them the "living
document" on casetracker policies.
- review options for replacing "freeze" date with a more coherent
and consistent way to handle this workflow management piece
- look into adding code that enables flexible sorting on case lists
that are the result of a search
- complete and publish the category owners list
team dynamics:
- we are having fun. we all acknowledge that the tooltime meetings
are some of the most enjoyable meetings we attend, while at the same
time being productive!
next community milestone
- casetracker reporting clinic on january 9, 10-11, n42 demo center
