Accomplishments past period:

- Met with ASST and VMSST members to discuss mainframe connectivity
to TSM IBM ESS. All agreed tha we can move forward with mainframe
connectivity to IBM ESS with additional multi-system testing added to
project plan. Plans are to allocate space on the ESS for TSM mainframe
utilization to save on mainframe disk maintenance costs. Mainframe
ESCON adapters ordered and received.
- Completed Site prepartion work for TSM UNIX hardware.
- Created IBM 3494 ATL upgrade configuration plan.
- Met with vendor and completed first phase of System Assurance for
IBM ESS. IBM ESS received and installation of IBM ESS hardware
completed.
- SUN Servers, SAN hardware received. Installation scheduled.
- Met with IBM CE to discuss details of IBM 3494 ATL upgrade. Phase 1 of
ATL upgrade targeted for early January.
- Refined and updated TSM UNIX Delivery web pages.
- Created initial TSM Migration Support Plan.

Issues:

- Need to decide on policy for unreachable TSM subscribers during user
migration periods.
- Who will deal with customer followup issues during user migration?
Help Desk does not have enough EFT to do this.
Goals for next month:
---------------------
- Install SUN Server and SAN switch hardware.
- Install ESS ESCON adapters to allow for mainframe conectivity.
- Continue to work with IBM Business Partner on ESS/SAN implementation.
- Refine Support Plan for TSM Migration.
- Continue to refine Project Plan.
- Attend IS Holiday party :).

- Team working well together. +/Delta from last meeting indicated
good team spirit.
