Accomplishments this Period:
* reconfigured PPL email for direct MITnet delivery/posting
This removed the last remaining dependency on JNET and the RSCS link to
MITVMC
* moved PPL from the 18.143 subnet to the 18.92 subnet
This removed the dependency on the private W91 to E19 fibre optic link
* de-commissioned all SecureLAN equipment still in E19 / W91 - including
CPTs, bridges, repeaters, BRIs, etc. The network group has been given
the green light to turnoff and remove this equipment.
Remaining Issues and Loose Ends
* tidy up the web pages a bit
* remove RSCS physical wiring in W91
* remove the old VBUD machine (used as the JNET gateway)
These next two items are no longer part of the SecureLAN demise project
* complete the tape archival process for the old MITSIS machine
* remove the old MITSIS VAX equipment
