Accomplishments for August 2002
-------------------------------
- Released V1.0 of the "Request for EAST Support," a form that will be
   used as part of the process of accepting an application for
   maintenance by EAST.

- Updated Enterprise Application Software Standards, now at version 1.1.

- Updated EAST web pages.

- Participated in the kickoff meeting of the Parking Web Delivery
   project.

- Began discussions with Steve Turner about transitioning the Events
   Calendar application to EAST.

- TNS:
   + Fixed 31 broken service orders.

   + Produced 12 ad-hoc reports.

   + Made 1 new client installation.

   + Worked on the enhancement for TNS billing to accept credit charge.

- Coeus:
   + Released a patch for Coeus 3.8, which addresses a number of minor
     bugs, reported by MIT and other schools.

   + In recognition of the fullness of Coeus Development Team member
     schedules, the Business Liason Team has begun assisting with Coeus
     3.8 installations, as well as offering brief introductory Coeus
     tutorials.  In this early phase, a Coeus Dev Team member has been
     accompanying the BLT member on the site visit.

- One minor ECAT issue with Dell usability that Gerry Isaacson and Todd
   handled in Lorraine's absence.

- One exceedingly small SAPweb change that was put into production
   (new cost objects).

- Discussion of several SAPweb bugs and issues in some depth (but with
   no actual coding from Todd).


Goals for September 2002
------------------------
- Revise "Request for EAST Support" form based on input from the
   interview with Steve Turner.

- Update EAST web pages.

- Progress with transitioning the Events Calendar application into EAST.

- Learn about the Parking Web project's architecture and participate in
   the design review process.

- Begin developing a revenue model for EAST.

- Finish the enhancement for TNS billing to accept credit charge.


Next Community Milestone

- Transition an application from its developer to EAST.
