project name: casetracker 1.5+
project leaders: goguen, barbara and thomas, oliver

accomplishments past period:
- pre-announced to category owners plans to release new version.
also invited them to test up until july 8
- set up new Java-based casetracker web application on the future
production machine (sheep).
- fixed minor bugs in new application resulting from beta testing.
- invited category owners to the first casetracker leaders meeting.
this will be the first meeting of the group that will review and
revise casetracker policies drafted last fall
goals for coming period:
- tuesday 7/9 through Friday 7/12: Tweak interfaces on gerbil.
- saturday 7/13: do another database export from hampster
(casetracker) and an import into gerbil (casetracker-beta). should be
routine at this point.
- saturday 7/13: assign gerbil the CNAME casetracker.
- saturday 7/13: new system is live and the new default. old URL's
(bookmarks) will be redirected to old interfaces, but with notice
that the old interfaces are going away.
- saturday 7/27: old interfaces are turned off.
team dynamics:
- all members are operating at optimal efficiency
next community milestone
- hopefully a release of new web interface on or around 7/13
- inaugural meeting of the casetracker category owners or leaders group
