Project Name: Online Credit Card Processing - ClearCommerce
Submitted By: Lorraine Rappaport
Report Date: June 10, 2002
Project URL: http://web.mit.edu/is/delivery/ccard

Accomplishments Past Period:
- Made some enhancements to new servlets, including the ability for
merchants to select columns for transaction reporting.
- Named the new servlet set "OMARS" (Orders, Management, and Reporting
Services). (Hey, can YOU think of anything better???? ;-)
- Rolled out new servlets to Alumni.
- Drafted merchant documentation on new servlets.
- Career Fair coordinators contacted the team to begin planning for this
year's event.

Goals for Next Period:
- Roll out new servlets for General Receivables.
- Work with Career Fair to set up their store for this year's
event. Career Fair could be a good group to pilot the integration of
ShopSite catalog with ClearCommerce payment engine. Further discussion is
needed with the coordinators and RLSLP to determine whether this is feasible.
- Follow up with Document Services and other merchants interested in
joining pilot.

Issues:
- We continue to find bugs and/or limitations with ClearCommerce's
software. ClearCommerce's often responds that they will include fixes in
next release. Not terribly helpful now...

Next Community Milestone:
- New merchants will be added to the pilot within the next couple months.
