Accomplishments in January
* Met with the sponsor, John McDonald, and provided a demo of the
application. Received favorable feedback.
* Held an update meeting for Parking Coordinators. 35 people
attended, viewed the demo, and provided excellent comments and
suggestions.
* RFP and vendors: Met with Jeff Reed from WCS who helped us prepare
an RFP. We screened vendor proposals and interviewed three vendors
for the Parking Web site.
* Started preparing some FAQ documentation for the Web site.
Goals for February
* Select a Web designer and begin working with the new team.
* Prepare paper prototypes for Usability testing.
* Start working on an EAST plan.
* Meet with ASST to discuss the type of service that will be needed
starting in July.
Next Community Milestone
Rollout to the community is expected to be in July 2003. Usability
activities, testing, and Parking Coordinators focus groups will be
involved before then.
* Prepare for usability testing.
* Work on rollout and support plans.
Learnings
There are a lot of twists and turns on the way but we are getting there.
