Updates
- All-Delivery meeting is now 2/25. Jim can make it.
- monthly newsletter: Draft will be out Tuesday - target date 2/10
- Quarterly Review on 1/31 - Comments around more Delivery visible work, comparison's with Stanford's "DITR" group, more Casetracker needs, and confirming our Windows commitments
- Departmental Application Development Contracts will be subject at next Discovery Council
- 2 new projects - Mailman implementation and improved business processes around MIT ID
Roundtable
- Lisa Robinson had a baby (Benjamin) last Wednesday
- Events calendar - Grad Student Council's Alvar Otero - ideas for using events calendar for more student activities
- New facility for maintaining spotlights on MIT homepage possibly maintained by EAST
- Athena Mozilla update to 1.2.1 seems successful
- Need to decide if maintaining Athena Mozilla in locker or in release
- Kerem: Working to finish DART design (deployment of Win2000 to DLCs). Trying to focus on specific pilot departments who are more ready to go. Need commitments from netops - in order to do independent domain, need to configure network settings. Requires a sub-domain (e.g. cao.mit.edu) for the windows domain; need to determine what the SLA looks like. Theresa is talking to Jeff about this. Working on team pages. Working with Dell & Microsoft to get outside assistance with setup of domains. Trying to do a test run with Microsoft and Dell on this; they are helping to provide funding. Trying to get consistent "reps" to have MIT knowledge help our clients.
- Working on the last APIs for testing, quizzes etc in OKI
