Gordon,

Please send me your questions on this subject again and I will try
to answer them.

Be sure to list them in a point by point format. That way I can get straight
to you without any backround noise.

You also wanted to know about my experience with ANS Diamond Mine Pricing
and gurantees of CIX connectivity. Ask about it on Com-Priv in an open
forum and I will do my best to answer. I really don't care if there are
any sour grapes feelings with the suppliers. You ask and I will do my
best to answer.

In e-mail you asked about the AT&T 2000 series ATM switch and its ability/
performance - My reply - Flawless. Can it do IP ? Yes. Why would someone
spend large dollars to research TCP-IP over ATM ? Good question. Its just
not necessary. Can I run ISDN , copper or FDDI from my box to ATM switch
and do IP over ATM ? Yes. Why spend the money for basic/applied research ?
You know that answer already - IBM has been getting gov't money for years
now , in the form of grants and low interest loans - Maybe NT just got alot
smarter.
