Junk email. (Where'd they get my address?)

I got a curious message from a place called "The Pipeline" which claims
to be an internet service provider. (I won't provide details about it,
even though I'm sure The Pipeline would like the free publicity.)

The main thing I'm curious about is: where did "The Pipeline" get my address?
This was a letter addressed to me, not to COM-PRIV; I don't post to any
news groups regularly (my last posting was about 4 weeks ago, I think). The
only place I can imagine "The Pipeline" getting my address from is the
COM-PRIV mailing list.

Has anyone else gotten mail from "The Pipeline"? I'm baffled at how they
got my mailing address.
