I'm pretty sure the Icelanders consider themselves European.  EUnet
in Iceland has one customer site per 4700 inhabitants, BTW.

Just for general information, since this is a fun topic:  EUnet
connects networks in Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco and Egypt (as well as
the rest of Europe); in the near future, Ghana will also be
reachable.  Tunisia had IP-connectivity via X.25 until a month or two
ago, but lost it.  They're currently awaiting installation of a
19.2kbit line to EUnet in France.
