If their are users who will be sticking around after their slated year of graduation (and I know there are because we've had a billion requests) they should let both the registrar's office and user accounts know this; the same goes for those who are changing status from undergrad to grad. They can notify me (us) be emailing 'accounts', stating the purpose for an account extension. I am keeping a list of students that have requested this; account maintenance is relative to this list and to the registrar's list. BTW, accounts won't go poof in the night, they should be here through the summer. I haven't gotten an answer as to the date of the poofing, but it seems to be the general opinion that they will remain intact through the summer (you may also want to consult with Jeff Schiller about this). Generally, students on leave will have a stale "NFS" handle - at least this is what I've encountered since I've handeled accounts - and their homedirs have to be reset on a fileserver. if you need more specific information, the best person to ask is Dave Krikorian. I hope this helps! --Kim
