Hello,
Lately, a number of people have been confused about the correct email
address(es) to use for reaching Consultants. In general, the address
to use is NOT 'consult'. For most messages, 'cfyi' is appropriate.
For messages of the utmost urgency, 'consultants' can be used.
Here are descriptions of each address:
cfyi A discuss meeting ("Consulting: For Your
Information"), which is read regularly by
Consultants and OLC volunteers.
consultants A mailing list containing all members of the
Consulting staff. SHOULD BE USED ONLY FOR
URGENT MESSAGES.
consult The email address for the maintainer of the
/mit/consult directory. Please use this
address only for correspondence about programs
in the /mit/consult directory.
