I have about 20 messages in my rmail file which are flagged as "deleted"
but which do not get expunged when I type "x" -- my guess is that they
are messages which were deleted and then saved by ^X^C (save rmail? yes),
rather than with the "S" command.
expunging does not work. The only way to get rid of them seems to be
by going to summary mode, going explicitly to the message, redeleting it,
and explicitly expunging and saving "properly".
I don't expect ^X^C to expunge for me, but I do expect the messages
to get expunged next time; this was the behaviour until recently.
