System name: portnoy
Type and version:	RTPC-ROMPC 7.2R
Display type: apa16

What were you trying to do?
	emacs -rv -n foo.bar &
(I nulled out my resources first by doing an `xrdb -load < /dev/null')

What's wrong:
If I use the name `foo' rather than `foo.bar' it comes up
reverse video, like it should. The `.' screws it up and
it comes up without reverse video.

What should have happened:
It should be smart enough to deal with names with embedded
	periods.

This is also broken in the version in emacsdev (18.57).

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
	emacs(1)
