please take a look at /mit/web/xload.xwd (and email me when you don't
need it anymore).. I don't think such a load is possible.
A very similar thing has happened before (a printout of the dump is
hanging in the sipb office), but it's not reproducable.
There was no resize, no window covering, so no refresh, the machine had
been idle for at least the duration around the funniness.
