The Scribe database bugs I reported in [3400] (arguable bug) and [3554]
have not been fixed, nor have received or seen any comments about why
they should not be.
The Scribe thesis bug about the list of figures I reported in bugs
[3946] has not been fixed, although for a while Ezra was trying to fix
it but wasn't sure how to audit it.
This is moderately annoying. Consulting gets questions from real users
who run across these bugs. It uses our time and frustrates users, when
often all that is needed is a one or two line fix.
I can understand bugs which involve Scribe internals not getting fixed,
that being the domain of the vendor. However, these are database bugs
and although some of them are the responsibility of the vendor, we have
the ability to fix them now.
For each one of these bugs, I specifically described what needed to be
fixed. For the thesis templates, I even submitted context diffs. If
there something else I can give you to expidite these fixes, please let
me know? I would really like to see these fixed in the next release
(7.0x?). Thanks,
Dave Morrison
