afs just bounced, and this occurred:
e40-342f-2% pdpq -Pnil
/usr/athena/pdpq: No such device.
note that ``No such device'' refers to /usr/athena,
*not* to the printing device ``nil''. this is surely
indecipherable to the average bozo. i'd say the
problem is that ``No such device'' is the wrong thing
to say when a filesystem croaks. but, then,
afs: Lost contact with server 12500002
is pretty useless, too.
