Just for reference, vncviewer and xvncviewer are actually
/etc/alternatives-managed, and both point to xtightvncviewer.
xtightvncviewer is pulled in by thirdparty-accessories.
Honestly, both xtightvncviewer and xvnc4viewer seem to be about
equally unmaintained. The current version of xtightvncviewer has been
in the archive since Intrepid, and the current xvnc4viewer is from
Hardy.

In non-fullscreen mode you can use the scroll bars (if your server is at higher desktop resolution than the client) a grand total of once before they stop working, leaving you stuck in a certain section of the screen. In fullscreen mode weird things also happen: it doesn't fully go to full screen (gnome panel is still visible) and the only way to quit the client is to launch a terminal (by using Alt-F2 shorcut key) and typing killall vncviewer in the terminal window that appears under the vnc client (ie, you can't see it).
