I'm sorry you had trouble using xmh on your workstation. Since you
haven't given much in the way of details (like: what version of
workstation software you are using, what type of workstation are you
using <VAX or RT>, does mail-sending with the conventional commands
fail also?), I can't offer a definitive answer. If you can provide
some of this information, I might be able to check out your problem
further.
I can offer you my *personal* opinion, which is that xmh is
particularly unreliable in the RT environment. My opinion is based on
casual observation and some bad experiences with it in the past.
