firefox borken on athena 9.3, both solaris and linux

firefox from the firefox locker fails to start on athena 9.3, both linux
and solaris platforms, but still works on 9.4 linux.
On 9.3 solaris the "firefox" command simply exits with status 137
without printing anything - some analysis shows it seems to be
missing shared libraries, because the binary was built on a later OS.
On 9.3 linux it also exits without printing anything with a status of 1.
I get the same results trying firefox 1.0.6.
I realize there's very little chance anyone reading this will actually
care; if there is anyone who would, please forward it appropriately.
I also wrote to the address in the firefox locker's README but often those
are out of date.
