Go up to a console and use the pull down Other menu - select library. Console displays something and then goes blank... I believe the library script invoked is: /mit/library/arch/i386_linux24/bin/library (which is a symlink to the share directory) The file was modified by ajfox in 2001... It would appear that it was intentional that this be disabled... The message implies that one should login... (which sucks if one doesn't have an account and the windows machines are in use by people using webmail and then one cannot get to the online catalog). If this was an intentional change - to disable the functionality, then it should probably be taken off the login menu. Ezra
