On both 5.5T and 6.0A, C-x C-c still does not accept control-g.
This means that if you hit C-x C-c, you get:
Save buffer <buffername>? (y or n)
Pressing n will then prompt emacs to ask you whether you really want to exit.
Still, the first time this situation is encountered, it is quite
nerve racking. I know that this has been discussed before, but it has
still not been fixed.
