run 'from' to check for mail
What's wrong:
'from' consistently produces the error
from: Cannot authenticate to PO12.MIT.EDU
this only happens on this machine, which seems to have taken the
9.2.11 update this evening. it worked before that as far as i can recall.
'inc' still works.
