Quite possibly.  All sorts of bad things happen with assumptions in the
update process when the running kernel doesn't match the installed kernel
rpm.

Anyway, in the case above, it looks like you have multiple kernel
packages installed, and the current version of the openafs init script
isn't very smart about choosing a module.  (It catenates the architecture
of all installed kernel rpms.)  There's a patch in the works for that
problem.
