I can reproduce it pretty easily.
Login as test account. Kill zwgc. rm .sw_messages. Run 'netscape &'.
Lose.
I should have been clearer in my initial report; the people who're xhosting
oddly are losing because their dotfiles didn't start zwgc, so the wrapper's
falling back to writing to their terminal.
