Hotline reports IBMs failing to install

Ops just received a page from JJ in Hardware Services, saying that all
attempts to install the new IBMs for the clusters have been failing. I
called and spoke to him, and he said this has been the case for almost a
week. He had not seen the errors himself, but said that they occurred
"right after the part where you put in the IP address", where "it looks
like it starts to install, but doesn't, and just hangs forever".
JJ thought that we (for nebulous values of we, probably ops) had been
informed about this last week, but to my knowledge we haven't been.
I told him to try to get one of the people attempting the installs to
email an exact description of what happens, with error messages, if at all
possible.
JJ would like to updates when information is known. He's at x3-6367.
