What were you trying to do?
machine was trying to autoupdate.
What's wrong:
bash# cd /etc/athena/
bash# ./update_ws
Beginning update from 8.4.7 to 8.4.8 at Fri Jul 21 15:43:33 EDT 2000.
Update would break dependencies:
kernel < 2.2 conflicts with raidtools-0.90-6
kernel <= 2.2 conflicts with initscripts-5.00-1

Installing the new kernel rpm by hand fails also, due to the same failed
dependency check.
