What were you trying to do?
i am trying to use the command sound with matlab and i have to enter the
sample rate , for example sound(name of the file,44100)
What's wrong:
but the sample rate that goes out is not 44100hz , i think it is around the 8000hz.
Maybe matlab doesn't realize that there is a number after and he plays with the default value or it is the soundcard that cannot follow... When i start audiocontrol i see there that there is a maximum at 8khz but then i don't understand that i can play a cd where the rate is 44100hz.
What should have happened:
The sound should come out with the good sample rate.
Please describe any relevant documentation reference;
i know that on a pc with windows 98 and matlab5 i didn't have any problem of this kind.
thank you.
Thibaut
