So, let me revise my request.
First, please check /var/adm/messages for the panic message. It's
usually present.
Second, since your machine reboots itself during the panic, it's
possibly a little inconvenient to do what I suggested. (A timely
stop+A might work.) Instead, you could enable crash dumps by editing
/etc/init.d/sysetup and removing the comment characters from the
beginning of the six lines of code after "Default is not to do a
savecore". Then after the next panic I can take a look at the crash
dump.
