What were you trying to do?
Twice within the last three days I've had spontaneous system
panics. Once was in the middle of following a link in Netscape 4;
this morning the same happened upon the launch of XRN.
What's wrong:
Machine freezes and displays error messages about memory
allocation; the first time, it printed [3] [3] [3]...across the
screen until it rebooted itself a minute later; today it gave the same
message but with [14] [14] [14] instead.
What should have happened:
Should have been able to run apps as normal. In the first case,
the apps currently open were emacs, xtc, and Netscape; this morning
was emacs, xtc, and xrn.
