zinit segfault on dialup

When I log into a dialup, I usually (maybe always, I'm not positive) get
Segmentation fault
zwgc initprog exec: Error 0
zwgc initprog of </etc/athena/zinit> failed with status [139].
at the end of the startup processes, though I don't notice any lose
of zwgc functionality. zinit -d gets to the end of the list of subs,
then seg faults; zctl ret doesn't show any filserv subs, though.
