What were you trying to do?
Use xdvi to display a dvi file.
What's wrong:
Xdvi comes up but then exits immediately. On the xterm from
which xdvi was launched the following message is printed:
Socket I/O possible
What should have happened:
Xdvi window should have stayed up displaying the contents
of the dvi file.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I used to use the xdvi located in the sipb locker which also
allows the display of PS files. For some reason, they have removed
it from their locker. Another point is that I am telnetting from
a non-athena machine (LEES9) to an athena machine (LEES4), I don't
know if this is the cause or not.
