I spoke with acpatel and suggested that he mail here.
When he tried to start netscape either from Dash or from the athena%
prompt, it would sit for a while and give a segmentation violation.
On some ocassions, the machine would reboot. He tried
it without customizations and also after the machine had freshly
rebooted. (So the problem is presumably not related to AFS or
his dotfiles.) However, I was not able to reproduce the problem
on air-traffic-controller, with or without my customizations.
He came in to report that it worked on Suns so I had him try it on
ATC. It crashed the machine, so I saved them dump. The crashlog is
appended. It's in /var/adm/crash. [cprivate cc'ed so if space is
needed, they know what's taking up 45 megs.]
